| Welcome baskets
are a wonderful way to extend a special thank-you to those guests who have traveled
long distances to join you on your big day. These personalized gifts are a unique
way to express your appreciation and will bring a smile to your guests' faces
after they’ve traveled near and far to witness your “sacred union.”
So you ask, what exactly are welcome baskets and how do my guests get
them? Welcome baskets are placed in the hotel room (just prior to their arrival)
for each guest you’d like to thank and can be filled with things that:
- Will make their stay enjoyable (books about Sedona, hiking trails, etc).
- Provide
mementos of their stay (notecards, calendars, t-shirts, hats all with scenes of
Sedona, etc.).
- Give them a little nourishment after a day of travel (fruit,
bottled water, snacks, etc.).
- Are really important! . . . including the
dates and times for each of the wedding events! We can also include a “survival
manual” with easy-to-follow directions to the wedding events and in addition,
information on local attractions and restaurants including addresses, phone numbers
and directions!
At Sacred Unions, this is one of the things that we
enjoy most doing. We will work with you to develop individualized baskets for
each of the members of your wedding that you wish to thank. We’ll work with
the hotel staff to insure that the baskets are placed in their room just prior
to their arrival! Here are a few ideas for you to consider . . . but remember,
each welcome basket can be personalized!
